01Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the World Monitor Android application (the "App") published by Apphesus Teknoloji A.Ş. ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App is licensed to you by us, not sold. Your use of Google Play, including purchases made through it, is also governed by Google's Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its content.

02What the App does

World Monitor shows a live world map of news, conflict activity, earthquakes, natural events, incidents and related public information collected from third-party sources, together with AI-generated briefs and live video channels. We aggregate this information; we do not create or verify it.

03Not an emergency or advisory service

The App is for general information only. It is not an emergency-warning system, a safety service, or a source of professional, military, legal, financial or investment advice. Data may be late, incomplete or wrong. Never rely on the App to decide whether you or others are safe. In an emergency contact your local emergency services.

Reminders are delivered on a best-effort basis and may be delayed or missing.

04Subscriptions

Some features require World Monitor Pro, an auto-renewing subscription sold through Google Play. The price, billing period and any introductory offer are shown in the App and on the Google Play purchase screen before you buy, and may vary by country.

• Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• You can manage or cancel at any time in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Introductory offers and free trials are available only to eligible users, as determined by Google Play, and convert to the regular price when they end unless you cancel.
• Refunds are handled by Google under Google Play's refund policies; contact us if you believe you were charged in error.
• We may change prices for future periods. You will be notified as required by Google Play and can cancel before the change takes effect.

05Third-party content

News, video, audio, maps and other data come from third parties and remain their property, subject to their own terms. Publishers' trademarks belong to their owners and do not imply endorsement. Links and streams lead to services we do not control. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or practices.

06Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the App for any unlawful purpose, or to plan or facilitate harm to any person or property;
• scrape, copy, redistribute, resell or make available the App's data or content beyond personal use;
• reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the App or our servers, or circumvent access controls or subscription checks;
• overload our services or use automated tools to access them;
• remove proprietary notices or misrepresent the source of content.

07Intellectual property

The App, its design, code, branding and original text are owned by Apphesus Teknoloji A.Ş. and protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes.

08AI-generated content

Briefs, story summaries, incident titles and descriptions are produced by automated systems from public sources. They are not reviewed by an editor, may contain errors, omissions or outdated information, and do not represent our views. Check the original sources before relying on them.

09Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apphesus Teknoloji A.Ş. and its officers, employees and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, safety or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including statutory consumer rights.

11Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law survive termination.

12Changes to the App and these Terms

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms by publishing a new version in the App with a new date, and we will announce material changes in the App. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

13Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are subject to the courts of Istanbul, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules and courts of your country of residence that apply to you.
